Individual Counseling can help you balance your life. You may have spent your life doing everything well. You’ve built a business, perhaps becoming an outstanding professional. You are clearly successful and your friends think you have it made. Sometimes you believe it, too. But mostly, you worry that everything is about to FALL APART.
You may also experience doubt. Do you deserve all you have? Are you worthy? Maybe you really feel as if you are a fraud who has managed to FOOL people all these years. You fear there is some truth to this because the skills you’ve acquired that used to work just aren’t working anymore, and now you’ve run out of ideas.
If you feel uncertain, anxious, frustrated or afraid, you are a good candidate for Individual Counseling.
In a counseling session, you are encouraged to speak openly
about issues that concern you. The process can be described
as unpacking your mental suitcase with your counselor,
examining the contents together, choosing what issues to
resolve and which ones to discard, then you pack up the now
lighter suitcase and MOVE
FORWARD.
This type of counseling is short-term – about 3 to 6
months. Weekly one-hour sessions are the most productive.
Some clients return for occasional “booster
sessions” to examine a particular issue, but most
complete the experience
feeling HEALTHIER and HAPPIER.
